Design Notes: I worked with the author and illustrator to design the final title and layout for the book The Raven Remix: A Mashup of Poe Titles. In keeping with the themes of the book (a collection of Edgar Allen Poe retellings) and the audience (this book is geared towards youth), I wanted the title text to be a little gothic, whimsical, and inviting. Elements of the cover, such as the presentation of the author's name and the Word Travel Press logo, were build to match previously published books. The front illustration wraps around the cover the book spine, with background elements brought in for the back "About" section. Cover illustration by Krista Weltner.
